A little background

I started a blog (Another Flamin’ Blog) at the end of 2007 when, frankly, everyone was doing it. Hence the name.

Since then of course millions more blogs have been created and many have withered on the vine. I’ll be honest, I’ve been close to killing the blog off on more than one occasion given the infrequency of my posting. What I have done recently is move all the posts over to this site.

The content of this blog reflects the content of me.  That mean a broad and eclectic range of subjects and a perspective which I’m fairly certain is of little interest to anyone else.

I’m a dad, I’m English though have lived in France for more than 15 years, I love sport, photography, glorious old cars, funny stuff on TV and film, nice food and drink…usual middle-age man things.  Professionally I’m the managing director, Europe, at The Hoffman Agency, a global public relations and marekting consultancy. Hey Rax. Life if France is great. I’m sure some of that will come through in the blog…though I tend to downplay it a bit otherwise people get resentful, bitter and, on occasion, violent towards me.

    Wouldn’t change it though.
